This 2006 released sneaker was dubbed “Mars Blackmon” because of the caricature of him on the heel of the sneaker. Mars Blackmon was a fictional character who was spotted in many of Air Jordan Sneaker early commercials. It was those commercials that are credited for making sneaker culture and popularity what they are today.
