Top 5 UGLY HYPEBEAST Sneakers in 2017

Top 5 Craziest Looking Shoes

Previously I covered 5 Ugly Hypebeast sneakers, in this vide I wanted to discuss 5 crazy looking shoes!

Thanks for stopping by, I reached out on twitter and asked the question the top craziest looking sneakers you remember, and we got some heavy contenders, but I wanted to break down my top 5 that I discovered.

#5 – Nike Air Rift
released in 1995, the Nike Air Rift was a minimalist sneaker inspired by Kenyan barefoot runners. The obvious oddity about these sneakers is the split toe design. This shoe was designed for distance running, but gained popularity over-seas on a casual level. I personally loved the shoe design since it was so unique, which is why it earned a spot on this countdown.

#4 Crocs.
Oh boy. Crocs are a prime example of a shoe that has levels to the ugliness, however the functionality and comfort outweigh the style.

Founded in Colorado in 1999, made from a proprietary closed-cell resin material called Croslite, it made a lightweight, slip resistant, odor resistant non marking sole. Material also softens with body heat. Imagine if Nike owned this tech?

Originally intended for boat shoes, crocs found its stride with the health field and restraint worksts.
Since 2002 they have sold more than 300 Million pars in 90 countries!

#3 Vibram Fivefingers
Gloves for your feet huh? Introduces in 2005, these odd ducks were created as a natural alternative for that outdoor lifestyle. Something about these just look terrible however, and plain wrong. Reminds me of bigfoot. The company settled a lawsuit alleging false health claims and set aside $3.75 million to pay refunds of up to $94 to anyone who had purchased the product since March 21, 2009

#2 Reebok ATV 19+

This sneaker sole makes me cringe. It literally looks like an infection gone wrong. Runblogger said it looks like a water bear…. LMAO! This shoe may be comfortable to some people, but the overall look of these shoes are beyond me, I would never wear these, but who knows if I tried them on, they may be contagious?

#1 Z COILS – These are no joke, and have a cult following, but yowza…. These are created for pain relief, however my eyes hurt more that ever. They have a rigid Z-Orthotic that cradles the foot equalizing pressure distribution to reduce your chance of developing heel spurs or planta fasciitis (pain in the mid-foot). It is a built in Orthodic.

Retail around $200, these are not considered a gimmick, and the reviews online suggest these deliver what they promise. Perhaps when I get old enough I will cop a pair for a review lol. But as for now. I can’t bare to look at these.
